I really like this place. Service is always good and speedy. Sandwiches and bagels are always fresh. Sandwich bread is even made in house!
Pros: relatively affordable. Near public transportation. Outdoor seating by the fountain. Customer service is good--staff are always friendly.
Cons: closes early so if you want a good bagel or sandwich better get there early! -

Bagel Street Café! My to-go breakfast spot. Its right by Bart so its convenient for those commuting to the downtown Oakland area. I came here after seeing a coworker get a bagel. The bagels are nicely toasted with plentiful cream cheese. I love their Garlic Herb Cream Cheese with a Basil Pesto Bagel for $2.95. Other combinations are fantastic as well. For $2 more you can get an eggwich-- Bagel with Egg, and you can add on meat and cheese as well!
Well worth the price! -

The space had a few tables inside and outside as well. Nothing unique stood out in the menu The shop sells drinks and chips and cookies.
Needed something quick and close to my seminar venue. My friends chose the location. They ordered and got their items within a reasonable time. Meanwhile, person and person who ordered after me got their orders after mine while 5, 10, 15 minutes passed, and they hadn't even started to make my order. So much for quick!
Aside from the slowwwwwww process of getting the bagel sandwich it was pretty standard. My bagel sandwich with egg and veggies was nothing amazing, but it did the trick in a pinch.
The woman who took forever to get to my order forgot to put the cheese on the sandwich after charging me $3.00 extra dollars for my order. I would likely try something else rather than going back if given the choice. -

Been here many times, if there was ANY other bagel place nearby I would go there. Service is slow and can't follow simple orders

The egg sandwich was good. But the racism from the Asian cashier, so lame in today's time. So everyone tells the cashier what they order and pay, when it's my turn-Same thing, except she double checks with the person making the bagel, literally checking that I didn't get cheese...really! I will never return! If you're an ally to ending all forms of racism don't buy here!
